In case you haven't been paying attention to what's going on up there, the Arctic "heatwave" continues, with today about 3σ above the 1979-2000 baseline. That's 5.21°C (9.4°F) above average for the entire Arctic region. This is record Arctic heat for this date.

An easy prediction: 2023 is going to be hot.
