Doggy daycare leads to the best naps…
Pretty sure Gunnar loves this blue hedgehog.
I still can’t get over the fact that this is the view out of my bedroom window when I sit up on my side of the bed.
A puppy boy and his best friend.
The 3rd game of the year was 9 Lives. I absolutely adore this game. It was exactly the level of hard decisions and trick-taking goodness that I love to sink my teeth into. I am already looking forward to hopefully many plays of this in the future.
2nd board game of the year is Necromolds which is a miniature game where the minis are all made out of play-dough! My son LOVED this game to the point where he started laughing maniacally. I enjoyed my time with it and would be interested in seeing more of the system.
The 5th movie of the year is Bullet Train! This movie was dumb fun and felt like a cross between a Coen Brothers’ movie and John Wick. I enjoyed it even if I was quite cognizant of how dumb it was the whole time. I am definitely not a Diesel…
Gunnar looks mighty comfy… I don’t have the heart to tell him that 75lbs is a bit much for a lap dog.
It’s been a really rough week with work, my cousin’s death, and all the day-to-day nonsense, but then I see a post like this and I am moved to tears by what can be made possible…
The 4th movie is Edge of Tomorrow. I really liked this one. It’s exactly the sort of sci-fi action movie with a clever premise that I can watch any time. The cast kills it in this movie capturing both the viscousness and befuddlements of soldiers. The ending even manages to be happier than I expected it would be. Great film!
