The New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, CNN and Associated Press have all posted guides to using Mastodon, which in turn have been syndicated by numerous local news outlets. That matters. We're rapidly approaching a situation where the media will refer to things happening "on Mastodon" the way they referred to Twitter in, say, 2013.
Don't forget about these 10 free agents

While most of the top free agents have come off the board, the cupboard isn’t bare just yet. Nathan Eovaldi, Jean Segura and Justin Turner are among the biggest names who remain unsigned. Going beyond those stars, teams can find a number of free agents who haven’t received much attention

CHICAGO -- This was an offseason the Cubs could not let go to waste -- not with the quality of star shortstops available on the free-agent market. After a round of monetary musical chairs, the North Siders reeled in one of the game's elite infielders in Dansby Swanson. On Saturday,

If you are a baseball fan, and you're not a mean, spirited troll, follow me so we can chat. Most of my post will be about baseball, with some weather, and politics very much mixed in.

I'm evangelizing for Mastodon because Twitter is likely toast, but I also want to be very clear that Black and disabled folks have built community infrastructure on Twitter that is real and meaningful.

When #MLB expands to 32, many think it would be 4 divisions of 4 teams in each league. But staying at 3 with a 5x5x6 alignment can work. Here's how. Everyone plays 48 interleague games, 16x3. All teams play 6 games against each team in same league outside division. For the division of 6, this means 10x6 + 4x11 + 1x10 for 114 total same league games, for the divisions of 5, 11x6 + 4x12 to get those 114 same league games.
