@uwwilo I agree 100%, part of that is the two party system. Additionally, getting money out of politics, stopping the Gerrymandering of congressional districts, and term limits on Congress. Getting legislation on these items passed by the individuals who benefit them is proving impossible.
that a majority will agree to, and then we can move forward.

@uwwilo Well, first off, you're right that making a deal with Dems would be better than making a deal with the devil, but these are the same members of the GOP who voted to overturn a free and fair election. The last thing they want to do is give Dems any inch of power.

For the longest time, there was really never an issue but now it is understandable with the huge shift in people to the far right. It is a good thing as it shows how the democratic system is working. There will be a resolution..

David Axelrod on @CNN just compared Kevin McCarthy to Chip Diller (Kevin Bacon) from National Lampoon's Animal House.

The GOP is providing comedy gold.

I’m about 95% sure the šŸŠšŸ’©šŸ¤” is backing Kevin because he remembers meeting a Kevin in NYC back in the late 80s and thinks this is him all grown up. #politics #speakerofthehouse #trump #uspolitics
@uwwilo It will leave the option for the Democrats to negotiate with Republicans. At this point, they have stated that they won't negotiate for McCarthy at this point, but potentially a more moderate Republican speaker, but this can change. The Dems have a lot of power here.
@kim_harding To be fair, there are grown men who still believe TFG is still President.
Would somebody please tell me how in the world #wellsfargo is still operating? How many times do they get away without accountability? Fining them clearly does nothing to change the criminal culture that always seems to overcome any pointless monetary sanctions.

I just want to reiterate that this fucking rules.

Unironically: thanks, Biden.
