Here's the finished cover for the new edition of Bait (and bonus story). All the art is by me (inked in pencil and fineline pens, coloured in Photoshop).

It'll be on Amazon in the Spring in Kindle and paperback formats.

The cover (which I've drawn and painted myself) homages 70s/80s horror/adventure comics like 2000AD, Misty, Scream, Jinty et al, and artists such as Jose Ortiz, Jesus Redondo, Phil Gascoine, Eric Bradbury.

Mrs C is selling knitted wares at a craft fair in our apartment's residents lounge, and I've hijacked her stall to see if I can shift signed copies of TFBC.

Apparently it is 5 years ago that this snap I took came second in a photography competition.

I was in Venice for my dad's 70th birthday, and my brother and I went out in the middle of the night to get some decent long exposures without all the tourists. This was the best one.

Here's a thing I wrote for a Christmas Ghost Story event in Manchester in December 2018.

It's been a while since I last listened as I can't stand the sound of my own voice, but I had fun recording it, adding all the sound effects and music and stuff.

This is where I introduced Lt. Lisa "Cally" Callaghan, an officer who often gets given the unusual or spooky cases that her colleagues at the Badgers Crossing police station don't want (or are too afraid) to investigate.
