Via Angry Staffer:

Marco Rubio, Trump’s Secretary of State pick, explicitly said yesterday that he would NOT call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

Great job to all the protest voters who snubbed Harris over Israel - you guys are really playing 6D chess here.

It's pretty tough maintaining a large, complex open-source system singlehandedly. It's especially hard when people don't know what they're doing and ask questions where you have to hold their hand through it all. Tried making a paid service, but very few people take advantage of that. Would definitely help my no-job situation though, so maybe I'll push for it somehow.
@gamedevsenad Yeah, that type of separation will go a long way and you did the "right" thing. You're definitely right also that these patterns can feel pretty rigid when you're in the middle of them, especially MVVM. I find MVU to be much cleaner in that sense, personally, but I could be wrong, too - I haven't published as many huge projects in it as with MVVM.
@gamedevsenad That is completely fair! That said, it's evolved as I've talked to people about it. It'll be a different pattern, one that's easier to understand and use, closer to MVU/Flutter/SwiftUI.
Introducing a Microsoft UI design pattern (it's used all over now, but started with Microsoft) to Godot (for better or for worse)! https://www.patreon.com/posts/mvvm-in-godot-111077100?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link
Honestly, this Olympics has been the best for memes. How they sort of slandered South Korea sucks and I wish they hadn't, but this woman is all of us.
Does anyone have any paid Godot work they need? How about even some short-term consulting? Job market is tough right now, been trying to bolster my Patreon but not many people there. https://patreon.com/KyleSzklenski - however, there's a lot of tutorials there! And I'm publishing more and more every week, when I am not applying for jobs.
