Mad Euphoria was first released via the WORDS NFT collection in August 2025.
This was my first collaboration effort. I did this song with Sonic Incision, who just happens to be an old bandmate.
We were catching up and he told me about this fun side project of his. He sent me this track he’d put together and I immediately started hearing lyrics. I set up the microphone, did some takes, and this is how “Mad Euphoria” was born.

I had parts of this written on the guitar but altered it quite a bit when I was playing it live. That night, a lot of songs wanted to be written and rewritten. I don’t mind imperfections as they more closely resemble life. Most people would cut out breaths and smacked lips and little noises but sometimes I like them. It’s like listening to vinyl. Snap.. crack ..pop. It’s a mood.
Setting: Played live in the studio. Warts and all.
I remember writing this one. I was pretty pleased with myself, honestly—thought it was rather good. There's nothing like the love of a good woman, but unfortunately we don't always find good people to love.

Not all of WORDS is about my friend—some of these were written before I even met him—but it’s wild how many pieces hit me with memories of him. We shared the same twisted humor and attitude toward authority, rules, or anyone telling us what to do. I loved his rebellious streak—it mirrored my own, and I know he felt the same. We had some amazing times. He would've loved this NFT.
And no, not everyone using em dashes is AI. 🙄
