I saw my biological father called and left a VM this evening, separate from my mother...as usual I braced myself for the onslaught of bullshit that always comes after I've blocked his number and contacts and we haven't spoken in 13 months. Since Mom is in hospice, I always listen before deleting them and it was....him trying to talk me into watching the meteor shower (Wednesday but he got the date confused). My mother's later VM corrected this oversight. We haven't spoken in over 13 months and, like it's nothing, that's the message he leaves. It's always a "maybe it happened, he has no other reason to speak to me".....and nope, it's drunken nonsense.

I put in my resignation notice to my job of 8 years last week after the amount of disrespect and a policy change was too much to tolerate anymore. I know things will be okay, but it was an example of a CEO wanting something not backed up by evidence and then having staff resign en masse and then being shocked about it. Funny that.

I'm a magician Harry! But they sure ain't gonna compensate me like one 😂
