Her new #album "Portraits" is extraordinary. Birdy's music matures with her naturally and beautifully. Not a single sign of artificiality.
#DerryGirls is one of the most successful comedies in years, and it deserves all the praise it gets.
However, I think that by not dubbing the show in different languages, they have missed a huge opportunity. Of course there are subtitles, but I know a lot of people who purposely avoid them. Adding dubs would've made this brilliant show more accessible for those who are "too lazy" to read texts. Also, I could have more people in my family to talk about this show.
Kit Tanthalos, played by the amazing Ruby Cruz, is the first lesbian Disney Princess. This is one of the reasons why #Willow means so much to the fans, because the series broke boundaries and portrayed characters we wouldn't usually see in those kind of shows. Fans love her, but Disney treated her like a throwaway character.
After #WarriorNun has been successfully saved from cancellation, Willow fans are now fighting harder than ever to not only get this show back to Disney+, but also to get it renewed. This show deserves to be continued.
#DavidBowie himself hated his album 'Never Let Me Down', which he considered one of his weakest works.
While I must admit that I have purposely avoided the album after I first listened to it for the same reason. But since I got the 2018 re-release that contained new instrumentation, I found new appreciation in it. Some songs are indeed superior in their 2018 versions, others are much better in the original release (specifically Bowie's cover of Iggy Pop's "Bang Bang").
When I was a kid, I used to watch my siblings and their friends playing a lot of #games, especially on #SuperNintendo and #SegaGenesis/ #SegaMegaDrive.
One game I remembered for years was a #Ghostbusters game, which looked so neat and, for 16-bit standards, very realistic, like the Alien 3 game on Sega.
Years later, I was looking for that game, only to find out that it DOESN'T EXIST - at least not like I remember it. I refuse to believe that THIS is the game I actually saw.
I've watched #EvilDeadRise yesterday, and I thought that it was a fantastic film.
However, there were still a lot of people who didn't show any respect. Some were talking audibly, and one groups loudly walked in and out (the audacity!). In times where people treat cinema like Netflix, it would be so great if cinemas could do something about it.
For example, when #Psycho came out, Hitchcock had good reasons to had those cardboards put in cinemas.
