What's weird is that news articles call the new (and final) #TheBeatles song the "AI song", which couldn't be more misleading. They say it as if the song was entirely AI generated, which is not true.

But what is true is that John Lennon's vocal track and so was extracted from a demo tape he made in 1977, which were then added into the final mix. And the result is very impressive.

There is nothing wrong with memes. There is also nothing wrong with meme accounts. But meme accounts that explain memes? That's ridiculous, and it tells you a lot about how humour is handled these days.

"I find a lot of critics misunderstand my films; probably everybody's films. Very few of them spend enough time thinking about them. They look at the film once, they don't really remember what they saw, and they write the review in an hour. I mean, one spent more time on a book report in school."

Stanley Kubrick

The good thing about the internet is that it makes publishing film reviews accessible for everyone.

The bad thing about the internet is that you are always exposed to film reviews when you don't want them.

@anomnomnomaly Another weird thing is when you are on a page for a Blu-ray, but most of the reviews are about ten years old and connected with the DVD release of the same production. It can be really misleading if you're not careful.

A horrible thing on Amazon is that the review function gets totally mishandled by users. Most "reviews" are no longer based on actual first-hand experiences. Sometimes, you find 1-star ratings because somebody doesn't agree with the price of an item. They pretend as if discounts don't exist.

Reviews should only be activated for people who actually bought something. Anything else is just ranting on an extremely low level.

@Sloanysoft And that's what happens when people try to adapt into a text what actually works in speech.

One of my pet peeves is when people add a "?" to a word when they want to express astonishment, like "Great?" or "Awesome?"

That's not how the question mark works!

When it comes to #pronouns, conservative religious people are like β€œWe don't want them here!!!”. Meanwhile, not only do they have pronouns themselves, they also refer to God, a non-existent being people believe in for thousands of years, as β€œHe”, β€œHim” and β€œHis”.

Satire is not dead. It has just transcended from its humorous form into a non-humorous form.

If Florence Welch and Kate Bush had a baby, it would be Birdy.

Her new #album "Portraits" is extraordinary. Birdy's music matures with her naturally and beautifully. Not a single sign of artificiality.
