@petergleick I asked ChatGPT how long would it take to transport 15k and 100k people 5 miles assuming 40 buses traveling at 35mph on a graded road with a round trip time (includes load up, drive time, unloading, and return trip) of 35 minutes each? Results: about 4 hours for 15k people, which sounds about right, or just over 29 hours for 100k people.

@epistatacadam I don’t have too many problems with squirrels as there are enough predators here to keep them in check. I worry about the weather. It’s not uncommon to get several days of freezing temps that wipe out the fruit buds on the trees.

@Sempf LOL, yeah it takes a while to train them out of the prey or play behavior, so I keep an eye on things during our training sessions.
