@martinr92 It works! Thanks again!

@martinr92 I think the scripting URL for Apple Silicon release builds of ffmpeg installer is not working? The snapshot link does work. https://ffmpeg.martin-riedl.de/redirect/latest/macos/arm64/release/ffmpeg.pkg

And thanks so much for providing an Apple Silicon installer for ffmpeg!

Your favorite big tech CEO (pick one) just sat on stage behind and in support of somebody who defined trans people out of existence, side by side with some motherfucker who later did nazi salutes from behind the seal of the POTUS.

There is no going back from that

“A rotten Apple: Tim Cook’s betrayal of LGBTQ+ rights”

> “If Apple’s leadership is willing to compromise on fundamental human rights, can I, in good conscience, continue to be part of that ecosystem? This question now haunts me, and I suspect I’m not alone.”

You're not. I’m suddenly seeing statements to this effect, public and private, more than ever.

Supporting Apple has never felt morally difficult… until now.

That's entirely on Tim Cook.

It's time for him to go.

The EU should demand that American Big Tech sell their assets to European companies. They can’t be trusted to not manipulate the data for propaganda reasons.

Not doing so is a national security risk.

Am I doing this right?

@atpfm good to know, thanks!
@connected Brendan was a great guest! More Brendan!
@atpfm re: Tom Thorpe’s #askatp - I “started fresh” on my iPhone 12 mini and kept my iPhone SE2 as a physical backup of the iMessage history etc going back to my first iPhone 4. I also took the opportunity to trim my contacts list that’s synced to iCloud (leaving the old contacts on the old phone too.) Zero regrets! Highly recommend!
