@MastodonEngineering Rewoking quotes and disabled quotes will just make people screenshot the quotes instead just as the do on twitterposts and then post them on mastodon. It's just an hassle.

@heliumlake Didn't have the greatest experience with Fairphone 4, annoying bugs that took long time to fix. Also slow updates to newer android versions. However used the stock OS. Tried CalyxOS on it but switched back, but remember why though. Do think the Fairphone 5 has improved on this, but that's no first hand experience. GrapheneOS on the Pixels are a very nice experience probably the easiest way to minimise your depenency on mobile big tech.

@BrodieOnLinux Regarding the EU petition, it has only reached 40% of the required votes. Any specific strategy in terms of focusing on getting votes from a specific nation with a large population, IT-maturity and fairly high english literacy such as germany?
