Mail call! I thought I’d missed out on these so very happy that the order went through!
We also saw a lizard (IDed as six-striped racerunner), we crossed a stream (she fell in a little on the way back 😅) and had an awesome lunch after.
Then we made out a little. ☺️
I hated fieldwork so much that this was the first time in years that I was just *out* looking for something for fun, no stakes. It’s been longer than that since I was on a date without my wife. And it was very exciting to reconnect with A after how touch and go everything has been with kiddos. A very nice day indeed.
After the war, Tarn’s crimes were judged to be so heinous that execution was considered unacceptably lenient. At the recommendation of his former commander Megatron, Tarn’s punishment, in totality, was to submit to the Scavengers as his parole officers for the rest of his natural life.
