Hello there! Nothing against Mastodon but Bluesky is pulling a lot of my focus lately. Lmk if you are interested in codes
If not, sorry for the faux pas (I know there’s a rivalry thingy)

That finale seriously hit the spot in terms of action and emotional catharsis. Patented Filoni bittersweet ending that preserves Thrawn's threat while creating two interesting paths for story to follow. Highlights for me:
-Thrawn turning out to handle everything pretty much perfectly. He committed the minimum amount of force to cripple the Jedi shuttle and then to ensure his escape.
-fight choreography INSANE in the best way
-LITERAL DEATH TROOPERS AHHHHHHHH
This seems to be a near universal favorite, and justifiably so. After not quite vibing with E5 the way many of you did, this made a much better case for “why this show.” Thrawn’s and Ezra’s respective returns were superb, with powerful acting.
I can’t get over how clever it was to have the *Chimaera* and its troops be literally patched together. As far as the long game, limiting Moff Gideon to a Light Cruiser made the ISD’s return pack a big punch.
I def get why some are not vibing with Ahsoka (it’s gonna depend on how the next eps go for me) but just want to say for eps 4-5:
The bad guys suborning industry and rending a hole in space/time to do their thing and the good guys doing the SAME thing by politely asking the non-industrialized people who already know how to do it? THAT’S #StarWars.
Just put my finger on something I’ve noticed for awhile:
In many fandoms, there are subject-matter experts: people who have worked on official projects and/or done work equivalent to a museum curator or a biographer. They open doors and chart paths for younger fans.
In #Transformers, #StarTrek, and #StarWars, these people are often also the most open hearted—embracing projects both old and new and even having kind words for their less-favored projects.
In #Godzilla fandom the reverse is true.
