I used to dislike WInter birding, but now I appreciate the hearty northern birds that only make it to Wisconsin in January or February.

Spent a few minutes this morning warming myself in the sunny spot by the window wile working on the Stringbean project! Lots of color switches on this little guy, so it's slow going for sure!
@loren Best of luck! Cold, but sunny (!!!) by me on Friday, so I may finally get back out there, too!!
We spent some of the time this afternoon playing board games and avoiding the snow.
Planted is fun, cute, and has a great (under-used) theme - houseplants!!! The game mechanics work well, and with final scores of 40 & 39, it seemed pretty well balanced!
Got a start this morning on the Stringbean amigurumi!!!
I am very thrilled that the yarn at the store matches the colors that I need for the new project! It's not always easy to find good matches, and it's even harder to find them all from the same brand.
It was a wonderful waterfowl weekend at Lakeshore State Park in #Milwaukee!
