Canada's Aatenborough: David Suzuki.

“We’ve [Canada] got the best environment minister we’ve ever had [Steven Guilbeault, a former Greenpeace director], he was arrested with Greenpeace, he’s been a campaigner for years, and he’s held hostage by politics,” he says.

“He’s got to resign and tell the world why, in the way that [UK international environment journalist] Zac Goldsmith in Britain now has resigned and said, ‘look our government isn’t serious about it’.”

Cardinal Sin: Archbishop Sentenced for Driving 25mph in 20mph Zone.

What if we got posters made up showing the Archbishop and that headline? Then they could be put up on lampposts along roads like mine that have a 20mph limit?

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby given speeding fine

Justin Welby admitted the offence and was given three penalty points at a magistrates' court.

BBC News

The press should not dehumanised tragedy.

The New York Times gets the wording of its headline correct: a person was driving the car that crashed and killed people.

Meanwhile, British media like the BBC and The Guardian give life to a motor vehicle - no human is mentioned at all.

Think of the messages that sends, especially to the friends and family of the victims and the injured survivors.

The British press must do better.

🚙 A car is parked 92% of the time.
🚗 A car spends 20% of its driving time looking for parking.
🚙 Its 5 seats only move ø 1.5 people.
🚗 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels.
🚙 A road at peak throughput is only 10% covered with cars.

Sounds efficient ?
