This is my new favorite thing! Artist Ememem takes cracks in sidewalks, walls and other urban environments and fills them with colorful, mosaic tiles. The results are just joyous. @Probertd8 interesting understanding here, this brings up an odd point. The Sun certainly dictates the Day/Night cycle, a most important unit of time. But, it isn’t a made by our doing. How do you understand it to be a “tool” and what makes it count in the development of timepieces?

These #epiphytic #ferns make little nodes, called sori, when they spore and I’m living for them. I love ferns like this Golden polypody (Phlebodium aureum). It also goes by the more understandable name “cabbage palm fern”
