Tomorrow will be Republic day of the Philippines. I don't recognize the republic day nor the independence day. We are not totally free.

Philippine Marxist-Leninist-Maoists attracted many LGBT+ persons into their revolutionary movement due to them famously conducting Same-Sex marriages. Philippine activists have been vocal about the LGBT+ being part of the Revolutionary movement, hence the most famous slogan:
"BAKLA, ANG LUGAR MO AY SA PAKIKIBAKA!"
(Queer, your place is in the revolution!)
