It is with a very heavy heart that @beardedtechguy and @cliffwade are having to make this announcement, however, it's something that needs to be done. Unfortunately we are going to need to shut down AllThingsTech.social, the Mastodon instance and the blog.
There are several reasons for this, but the biggest reason is the fact that we simply don't have the funds to continue paying the server fees associated with it any longer. (continued...)

Friendly reminder that #AllThingsTech will be performing maintenance today at 12pm EST. This maintenance will consist of downtime that we hope is somewhere between 2 - 4 hours.

Maintenance is planned to last 2 - 4 hours if all goes as planned. During that time, #AllThingsTech will not be accessible until maintenance has been completed.
