@lzvolk lovely
@Clackable yep, all of that, except I do like the landscape and wildlife photos here. So I take out of it that which gives my life a little boost while I wait to see if it develops.
@Pagan_Activist Had a cold or flu, whichever, for nearly two weeks. Far worse than the brush I had with covid way back when. Hope you feel better soon.

@liamlonsdale hope you don't mind if I follow you then cause though I'm a knackered old ultra runner, I still dream running and mountains.
@smileyrach3 I think I live in a particular bubble of people, both in the part of Manchester I live in and my work/hobbies. Mostly left-leaning and either mildly anti monarchist or indifferent. Trouble is, for example, this led me to think that we would never vote to leave the EU, so not sure what else I take as givens that aren't in the wider population.
Saying on the radio this morning that there is a generational split between those up to 24 who sympathise more with Harry and Meghan and those older who support the traditional royal family. A Venn diagram showing the intersection of those of both age ranges who couldn't give a monkey's would be interesting to see.
@GoodCheerPixie someone did point out once that you were more likely to be being treated by a doctor from outside this country than stuck in a queue behind 'an immigrant'.

Over 80% of the world’s population & 99% of Americans & Europeans live under "sky glow," where light pollution affects wildlife, human health & our ability to observe celestial objects.

As we lose the chance to look up & peer back in time at once vivid stars, we risk forgetting our place as a single species in the magnificent symphony of life. https://education.nationalgeographic.org/resource/light-pollution #space #science #nature #SharedPlanet

Light Pollution

People all over the world are living under the nighttime glow of artificial light, and it is causing big problems for humans, wildlife, and the environment. There is a global movement to reduce light pollution, and everyone can help.

@peckishly sorry, don't mean to be controversial, but fondue!!! Really!!!
