I should check out Mastodon in the middle of the night more often. This place is crazy town at 3:30 a.m.

Anyone have a solution how to make my poems sound less prosy? It's like I've forgotten how to write #poetry.

if you ever feel like doing some antifascist praxis, log on to ebay, do a search for "nsbm" and report some listings, because that stuff is supposed to be against terms of service, yet it's all over the site.

once you know some of the nsbm band names you can search for those as well.
you can at least be an inconvenience, and that's the point, making life less easy for nazis is antifascist activism.

It's the first day of #Lent, and I accidentally ate something sweet without thinking. So I will have to make up for it. (But I think God will forgive the lapse.)
Poetry, for me, comes from pain, from longing, from the ache of not knowing but wanting to understanding, the space between coherent thought and an abundance of feeling. I don't think I can write solely happy poems because joy, while always a surprise, doesn't exist in discomfort, doesn't need to be described before it can be held and accepted.
