Doing the best I can with what I've got.
@adelemitch Shoot. Not to bag on Cointreau, but gin really needs bitter or sour to set it off.
@adelemitch Do you have lemon or lime juice and sugar? If so, you could make a Collins or Rickey instead. Those were my gateway cocktails for G&T lovers when I was bartending.
@yllamana Women are often the initiators of BC conversations, so it makes sense. I used to work at Planned Parenthood and it wasn't unusual to have women make inquiry calls about pricing/scheduling vasectomies.
@pudgyyuuri When I first started cooking, I would wing it a lot and fail. I found that working from well written recipes with clear instructions really helped build my skills. America's Test Kitchen also has a series of YouTube videos covering basics like knife skills, meat temperatures, etc.
I'm losing my voice and have to teach two dog obedience classes tonight. Fingers crossed I come out of this more Kim Carnes than Harvey Fierstein.
@krillershrimp Have you ever tried salted black licorice? It has a bit of ammonia salt. Sounds terrible, but works in a weird way.
@krillershrimp I love black licorice. *runs from room before people start throwing things*
@kerr1ck mammal

@worstgirleva I have a friend who is doing FHT, but loves her facial hair and is conflicted about it thinning/disappearing. She's even gotten crap from other transfolk about her beard. These boxes we put each other into are crazy.

I'm a cis het female who has dressed butch for a lot of my life and even when I've been mistaken for a man I've never felt like anything other than a woman. I would never question someone else's ID based on how "feminine" they look.

@Flappypaddles Meditation spot, purrhaps?
