That's their function for sure, but this one man is such a pure representation of 'I'm a Lefty' liberal that the discourse is so strong.

I spend a lot of time writing emails to people in positions of power asking them to stop being dickheads and give me/others what we need
If I'm particularly annoyed with them because they continue with their gatekeeping, I politely and 'professionally' remind them that if we don't get what we want, a bunch of angry working class people will turn up at their office and disrupt their day - sometimes they back down, but this one guy right now is utterly exhausting
🔒: It would be nice if people realised that some of us are deeply uncomfortable with what I would call hyper sincerity not because we're cynical irony bros, but because of our neurodivergence.
It's actually a big problem for a lot of autistics to deal with this, and that this is ignored shows which kind of autistics are accepted by a lot of you and which aren't.

I had a spike in visual hallus y'day which was crap.
Hard to talk about this stuff to people who haven't experienced psychosis because they either stay silent, or they belittle episodes, or they think it's cool, or they try to relate in weird ways, or they change the subject into their mh, or they call the police.
People need to stop doing all these things and get better at listening to and supporting each person's needs
At least on here I don't have socdems telling me to vote labour and to pipe down and be 'charitable' etc while the self-appointed 'Left' experts fuck about in their silos and get their careers lined up.
