Once spoke about the video games at the camera. Now I just wail at the furies. I wear pants too.
@KyloKen hello, nice to see you
@nshady you hit the nail on the head in your description. I don't think it was ever a Gaas because it's such a financial investment on the back end that (like Avengers) you don't abandon it no matter what a mess it is. but why the felt the need to push the sidekicks rather than the more reliable Batman himself. There's no other equitable push from DC/Warners with the characters...its just so weird.
@Jest24 you know if they framed like a TV show (or comic book arc) a la Alan Wake, it could work. Its just the abrupt lurch from Ras Al Ghul to Harley Quinn, I can't remember why i'm doing anything
@umbrae the 30 FPS isn't much of an issue (though the cutscenes have inexplicable framerate problems) because the combat is so clearly designed around it just feels like a lot oof interesting ideas that don't work that well with each other. It's kinda the perfect gamepass game in that, it's fascinating to examine why it doesn't work better.
So, still haven't started Ragnarök (eyeballing tomorrow or Sunday, depending on when i cook a Rabbit stew). But I've been dipping in and out of Gotham Knights. I find the game really weird, very tonally and narratively disjointed. Anyone else give it a whirl?
@anirbanmu well, thank you! If this works out hopefully we have a chill space to talk about things.
@boltraz_ great question. I'd love to see data on that
@atphoto75 @dustinjba I hear you on forgetting movesets. It's why i try to play one game at a time and keep playing it. Emphasis on "try"
@boltraz_ agreed. it's harder as we get older too acclimate to something that's both familiar and quite different.
So, want everyone to know that I have not started Ragnarock and probably won't until this weekend. I like to make sure i have several consecutive hours available before i jump into Sony games.
