I tell everyone who is new to #infosec that stress is a killer, and it (mostly) comes from frustration. People new to security think that the pace of change and the number of new vulnerabilities causes stress, but that's the cool bit - and the reason why many of us enjoy this job. In my experience, stress comes from seeing a problem and being unable to fix it. You will not survive in security long-term without being able to manage the frustration that comes from not being able to fix everything immediately.

Slack trying to hide their security disclosure? LastPass pulled the same thing recently, but even more blatantly.

We need a searchable index of companies who hide their disclosures like this. It would be extremely valuable when doing vendor assessments.

This is a very interesting read. If something goes wrong in #itsecurity then it can often be tracked down to uninformed or bad decisions. However I've never heard about such issues on such a massive scale. #infosec #privacy #malware
