Frank Solleveld is giving a Wednesday afternoon talk at SwiftCraft 2026: Building Beyond Mistakes.

Every working engineer has a graveyard of decisions they wish they'd made differently — the architecture choice that didn't scale, the dependency that turned into a maintenance burden, the abstraction that hid the real problem. Frank's talk is about what we do with that graveyard. Not "how to avoid mistakes" (you won't), but how to build beyond them — practically, professionally, without losing your nerve or your team's trust.

Frank is based in the Netherlands and co-organises @ARCticConference.

@fromtibo We have a principle not to record any of the presentations at ARCtic Conference. We want to promote attending conferences in person, and also feel it’s a bit unfair for the speakers (and other conference organizers) who often do the same talks in multiple conferences. However some of our speakers have recorded ”bootlegs” of their speech/slideshows, which you might be able to find in YouTube.
