"America First" doesn't mean for you. It means you get the flag; they get the country.
A few months ago, I went to a screaning of the film Confederate States of America, whose director Kevin Wilmott was retiring from teaching at KU. During his talk after the film, he said, " the Confederates won the war everywhere except the battlefield" I'm pretty sure I've thought of this statement every day since.

Florida can put 5000 beds together in under a month if it's to build a concentration camp, but can't house their 31,000 homeless citizens.
These are policy choices, and not just on the right. Dems could be using emergency powers to house people in blue states.
We have a party of fascism and a party of the status quo.
