I already love #Copperdale from #SmallBoxGames but I think the River & Stone deck from @bethsobel really up-levels the experience. 😊 #RollAndWrite #BoardGames
Thanks to the annual winter sale, my little #Hollandspiele #BoardGames collection grows. 🥰 🦖🚂
#TheGreatSplit is highly enjoyable. Hach/Silva are a great design team. Plays up to 7 and it’s a keeper as a quick (teach and play in 45mins) non-party high-player count #BoardGame that focuses on the I-split-you-choose mechanism. Focused and smooth gameplay. Bonus: Weberson Santiago illustrations.
Photos can’t convey what a gorgeous morning it is. I love living in the Pacific Northwest so much.

Four #RollAndWrite games and a super fun card game… it’s a good #BoardGames mail day.

Now what to play first…? 🤔

I got an Apple Pen for Mothers Day and it changed the way I do solo #RollAndWrite #BoardGames.

(I tried a few things but found OneNote to be great for this. I can write/draw and change ink color/thickness, resize sheets, embed multiple sheets or rules on a page, etc.)

Do you play #PrintAndPlay roll and write games? (There are so many awesome ones.) Do you have a special way you manage and play them?

If you're looking for a digital distraction, Teeny Shire is a browser game (from David King who also made Tiny Islands and TokTik Color Pick - both of which I love).

Simple and quick - icons score based on adjacency, you get a pair to choose from and then you place in the row or column dictated.

Totally digging #VillageRails by the dynamic Matthew Dunstan/Brett J Gilbert duo (from Osprey Games)

Draft rail and scoring cards and build your tableau to maximize on both. Up to two score cards can go above columns and to the left of rows. Cards score when the relevant line is ended by hitting one of the tableau edges.

Choosing-how-you-score is something I really love in games (a la Carnegie or FYFE) and it works great here.
