#OpenBSD is in the process of finishing up our 6.3 release.

How does that work? Here are slides that Theo presented at AsiaBSDCon 2009 describing our release cycles and process.

@phessler The only out of date parts being any mentions of pressing CDs and all packages being out on day one.

I need to watch this. I read the slides back when they were first released.

@kurtm also no more sparc packages ;)

@phessler

*runs away crying*

@phessler

The worst part of that? I still have sparc32 equipment.

Now I find myself considering running NetBSD on it.

@kurtm winter is almost over. you can just take them to the recycling center instead ;)
@phessler @kurtm hey, you can't do that to cute vintage hardware!

@phessler

You monster.

I actually have some cool sparc stuff.

I've got a SparcStation 10SX. (It's halfway between the 10 and 20, no weird audio box needed and has the VSIMM stuff for SX graphics).

I've got a Cycle 5-IP upgraded lunchbox. It's IPX form factor with a 170mhz TurboSparc.

@kurtm Nice. Just standard issue Sparcstations here: An SS1+, a SS10 with two CPUs, and a SS5. A bunch of assorted Sbus cards too.
