To me #smallstories have an accidental quality, a found moment in the day. Their smallness is this unintended/untended quality. They're not dinner table stories for me, or campfire tales, so much as a happenstance thing that someone stopped for.
But they're not the only way we tell stories and I feel myself now thinking about the overall weave of storying that makes a community come into itself.
@katebowles I've just come back from a 3 hour drive to pick up my eldest from an exam (first A level) to have a few days at home... and on the drive I found myself thinking of stories I wanted to share here. Fragments -

@lauraritchie @ShorterPearson @econproph @Tdorey @dogtrax @tellio @taniasheko I've had that feeling, of having a place where stories can be safely kept. It's like a collecting place. Federated wiki was like this for me too, absorbing to the point that I thought about it during the day.
@lauraritchie @ShorterPearson @econproph @Tdorey @dogtrax @taniasheko @katebowles Perhaps one of the elements of #smallstories could be that they are loosely held and, as such, can be lost without great alarm and confusion. I mean, we ain't Coleridge and this ain't Ozymandias, right. Perhaps we can also think of recording stories as well, ad hoc and come what will.
