Commuting by train gets really old. Every other week, I have to travel for eight hours, then back again for another eight hours at the end of the week. I miss my family. At least with modern technology (smartphone, Nintendo Switch, etc) it's a lot less terrible than it would have been 15 years ago to be stuck on a train for so long.
@Enfors Where are you commuting from and to? Commuting can really be a big drain; I try to plug the gaps with podcasts, doing some work on the go.
@celes Oh, and I'm really into podcasts as well, they're the perfect companion for so many things! Man, now I want to play Minecraft and listen to podcasts...
@Enfors I see Minecraft mentioned here and there online; what is it like? I've never played it before. I'm guessing your kids got you playing?? :)
@celes No, I got THEM playing. It's an absolutely fantastic experience, it's the Lego of games. The advantage it has over Lego is that you won't run out of bricks. Lego brick shortage was the bane of my existence when I was a kid - I could never make my castles as big as I wanted to. With Minecraft, that problem is no more.
@Enfors Interesting! I didn't know that - I'll be sure to check it out!
