Hey everyone! I just switched to mastodon.social, will likely start using that account more often. If any of you want to join me there, please can find me at https://mastodon.social/@celestine
Just created an account at .social (@celestine). The local timeline there is FAST! 😱
Wrote a new post on how to be an email master. As someone who receives many emails a day, I've learned to stop letting email run my life, and have streamlined things such that I only need to check my email once a day. https://personalexcellence.co/blog/email/
Super excited to be interviewing Naima Mora, winner of America's Next Top Model (Cycle 4) on the upcoming episode of my podcast! Not sure if any of you watched the show before (I stopped watching after my teens), but if you've any questions for her, let me know!
So glad to be back, and many thanks to @ian for solving the issue. Hi everyone! :D
Has mastodon.network been down for anyone in the past two days or is it just me?
Are any of you guys still using Twitter? If not, why? For me I'm quite neutral about Twitter, but what drove me to check out Mastodon is because Facebook is just ridiculous today with their reaction-based algorithm and how it's just a noise-filled social network. Business pages can't reach out to people who "liked" their pages to begin with; users are just seeing a lot of low-level information (without them actually realizing it).
A post I wrote recently titled "Great Minds Discuss Ideas" - 'The news today do not educate - they are largely toxic. Instead of broadening our minds, they narrow them. The irony is that by thinking that we educate ourselves by reading the news, we isolate our minds and paint an extremely skewed image of the world, yet missing the whole point which is, “What can we do to solve the issues that we see?” https://personalexcellence.co/blog/great-minds/
Anyone been to Vancouver before? Do you like it or no?

Just finished writing a post on how to say no for busy people, including busy professionals, entrepreneurs, and coaches (though the principles apply to any situation where you want to say no):
