Alright #mastodon, I have a task for you. What's the best #terminal #emulator on #Linux?GO!
@jan I guess it depends on your need. I myself use rxvt-unicode (Urxvt) as I run a tilingwm and thus have many terminal instances open at the same time. Urxvt is nice that way as it has a daemon mode and thus is a bit lighter on resources.. It is also very configurable.
@shellkr before you know it, I'll be back on Arch running AWM. You're the second one today mentioning this 😃

@jan Lol! Well, there aren't really any good alternative to #archlinux. Especially if you plan on doing tiling wm. ;)

I am on #bspwm and have been so a couple of years now.. and although I have tested other terminals the #rxvt-unicode is the one who I've stucked with.

@jan best is a strong word but my favourite is Tilix https://gnunn1.github.io/tilix-web/
@wezm no bullshit, this looks exactly like what I'm looking for!
@jan I'm using Tilda and sometimes just the Gnome Terminal (ctrl+alt+T). Do you need it on a special UI?
@jeroenpraat I selected Tilix. Has quake, split views and borderless UI. https://gnunn1.github.io/tilix-web/
@jan Oei iets nieuws! GTK3! Mijn interesse is gewekt. 😃
@jan i'm traditional: xterm
