Backing the Blokas #pisound campaign for my own #DigitalMusicking projects. More appropriate for my needs than the #Axoloti, tbh. Especially with #SonicPi and #PureData.
Is @hapax in the same boat?

@Enkerli @hapax Looks really good
@WoodooProd @hapax Should sound great too.
My realization is that, having invested some efforts into Raspberry Pi, Pure Data, and Sonic Pi, this is close to ideal for me. Thought about several commercial products but my approach to #musicking is too distant from manufacturers’. Could “subvert” their tools, but RasPi is a better option.
@WoodooProd @Enkerli #axoloti & #pisounds seem to be cool projects ! But I got what I need : for #live and #workshop I'm just using a #raspberryPi2 w/ #cirruslogic audio card 24bit/192khz (2 analog i/o, 2 digital i/o 1 i/o headset , 2 speakers i/o w/ 3W amp) w/ different controllers : electronic parts via #arduino, #wiimote, joypad, webcam & #diycontroller via #MIDI. For software I'm using exclusively #puredata #headless. Except for #livecoding using it w/ gui #tcl
@Enkerli @WoodooProd A good approach that's I use is #osc via ethernet or wifi w/ serval #raspberrypi (2, B+ & even A+) still running #puredata headless : works smoothly :-)
This way you can attribute different tasks for each #raspberrypi
@hapax @WoodooProd Sounds neat! A bit like the “laptop orchestras”. Got a demo?
Interestingly, Sonic Pi is getting OSC I/O.
@hapax @WoodooProd Had seen the #CirrusLogic card. Might get one as well, if it’s available somewhere.
Quite interested in your work with controllers. Got documentation on those? Played a bit with a few similar things, but it’s a bit hard to do so on my own. There’s a lot of information on specific builds, but not necessarily on how these things fit together.
