I really should visit & hang out at the Mastodon Github Issue Tracker some time…
Issues I'd place there, or would watch out for:
- un-Mute
- temporary Block and temporary Mute
(in the style of old-school IRC 7-day killfiles, or something…)
- "Birdsite"-style Lists
(more like Hootsuite-style, since Hootsuite pioneered Twitter lists before Twitter implemented them iirc…)
- delete user accounts
(this issue is already open and is being tackled)
- edit Toots after publishing
etc.,…
Maybe some of the above issues can be tackled by a Mastodon client-app (instead of being tackled directly in the main Mastodon app)
For example Amaroq (the Mastodon app for iOS) can handle un-Mute right now, and displays a list of users you've Muted.
I wish Tusky would support DM's though, in addition to un-Muting…

⭕ I support the pursuit of "Time-based blocking" in Mastodon: ▶️
✔️Mastodon has an opportunity to do blocking better with time-based blocks.
✔️Block for: [1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 1 year...]
✔️A temporary block feature would nicely deal with the big difference between "you need to stop talking to me right now" and "I wish you didn't exist anymore"
