I want to be able to say"Turn on Bluetooth and connect to DOSS SoundBox (or some nickname I've given it, like "Portable speaker") and then have the sound start playing from there. I want to hear Mastodon's sounds!

I have no idea what Mastodon sounds like, even though I have the sounds turned on. Better yet, I'd like to be able to just say or type "Play sound through portable speaker and computer's speakers" the places I want to hear it from instead of spending a freakin' hour trying to remember what thing I opened to turn the Bluetooth back on and get the computer to find the speaker that's waiting to be found, which then disables sound coming through the computer's speakers.
@Euphoria what kind of machine are you on?

@saper Thanks for asking! I'm so proud to be on this machine instead of a far more expensive, newer one that would be likely to frustrate me just as much.

Oh, for command lines that just do what I ask! I suppose that's still possible but I don't have the patience to figure it all out on this contraption.

@Euphoria I also like using somewhat older laptops, especial top-range models. As long as batteries still do they job or can be replaced.

Never used bluetooth on anything newer than Windows 7 but I was suffering from your problem a lot as well.
