I'm training myself to not feel obligated to read open tabs with links I clicked because someone I like and/or respect shared the link, especially some of the links that are very old that I still haven't gotten around to. If I start to read it and it's not catching my interest from now on I'm simply going to close the tab and forget the whole thing, as I forgot who posted the link in the first place.

This causes me to realize that I've never contemplated communicating with the virtual world from a party, so I appreciate your calling this to my attention.

Years ago I had a program called the PalmaSutra on my Visor that I would show to people at parties sometimes. People were very interested in it and, while it allowed me to interact it also took attention off of me and drew it to the app. I like having crutches like that.
