NolanHot take: the reason a lot of techies are upset about Mastodon is that it's the first pure and beautiful thing our industry has produced in like 5 years
luisbg :coffee:@nolan let's be honest. That's a tall order. The last 5 years have massive wins in cryptocurrencies, decentralized bittorrent, Riot communications, better graphics rendering engine, uprising of gnome-shell, etc. Mastodon is super cool but lets avoid hyperbole 😊
