@pseudomichael Well, some of them certainly warrant some snark. I decided to share them here, though, because it seems to be a timely meme and I was curious to see where they'd lead, as I have been caught in a big web in the past day that keeps leading me to places I sometimes visit, and then to this new one again. It's been quite a while since I've encountered something like this. I probably shouldn't be surprised that The Verge led me here.
@Euphoria I found out about Mastodon from the Verge too!
I do think there's something special going on with Mastodon (and the decentralized GNU Social / OStatus based networks in general). I hope it continues to grow and challenges the big obnoxious FB/Twitter juggernauts!
@pseudomichael It's likely be a challenge to them with certain sort of user. Others are likely to get bored and leave, though maybe not, if they find enough like-minded users to connect with. I got kind of excited about ello at first, but that site was a little too exclusive for me, I guess, or maybe I was just not trendy enough to fit in. I'm not feeling that here.
