Is there some kind of law that says men's watches must have a dial the same diameter as Jupiter?

What is this gaudy nonsense?

My dad and granddads had watches you could actually wear without worrying about distorting spacetime or attracting orbital detritus

@troubleMoney Some companies do seem to have come to their senses. And not a moment too soon since I don't think the watch demographic could get any douchier than it already is 😣
@cypnk Might not get back to 36mm being a men's size any time soon but people are realising that 45+mm watches are maybe a bit on the large side
@troubleMoney My current watch is a Seiko SNK809. Mercifully under 40mm and works fine for daily use. It's getting a little beat up since my hobby is carpentry and soap making. Wood shavings and lye are taking their toll
