@HolicShot I understand that, and honestly I think technical people who want to run their own community and want help with that should be welcome too, given that a lot of people want to understand the dynamics of online spaces, though specifically I know and think a lot about this sort of thing.

@q3k If it's public then people will join it like a normal instance, I think over time as the tools develop and get tested they might be public

@krainboltgreene for official advice on instance running I agree. /tootsuite/mastodon-ecosystem or something should probably exist. In the future though, after people test and experiment for themselves with other people doing the same. this is more than just community shaping.

@cypherpunk if you run and build an instance surely making things or providing feedback will work, but we're working on admin related things, some of which are user testing or server required
