@randahl @BruceMirken I’m not 100%, but I think the NY DSA candidate for Congress is targeted hard by aipac and their invisible funded army of propagandists, because she is for cutting funding to Israel.

This would be felt strongly , as we are by far Israel 's main trade partner. Immediate effects would include exclusion of Israeli partners from Horizon Europe. @randahl we look at our political choices and we vote accordingly. For me, it's the Social Democrats and a left wing alliance in government with PBP, Sinn Fein, and possibly Labour. All are willing to take action against the Israeli military regime. We closed their embassy and will force in sanctions especially in the occupied territories.

Personally I would go much further and ban all Israelis who served in the military or a government job from entering Ireland.
