@nblr Earlier today I took a bus with its digital destination display doing something similar.

It's not only AI that hallucinates. But fortunately there was a human driving. It was only the sign that was hallucinating. And I got to my destination OK.

@nblr it's fun when HD44780 character LCDs receive random sequences of commands and corrupt their internal buffer. With the characters displayed, the character ROM present is the one with european characters. i find that it's less common than the variant with japanese characters
