I'm dreaming of a set of new linen curtains. I could sew myself, but I can't find anyone in EU selling linen fabrics that is both sheer and at least 2.5 metres wide. 😅
And under 30€/m is absolutely not realistic, right? #Linen #Sewing #NaturalFabrics #FabricShopping
@laumapret I recently learned, why there are such huge price differences when it comes to linen:

All linen is the same right? Then how can two linen products be priced so differently...?

Even worse, sometimes even expensive linen fiber can be badly spun, losely woven and wear out fast. If you have time, Bernardette and Nicole both have talked about it in different ways: Bernadette specifically about linen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0wHgSyplKY and Nicole more generally about fabric quality.
I'm figuring that my curtains will be washed only twice a year (not like my undershirts), so, I might get some solid 10 years of wear even out of not so good linen, but I need the correct size...
Trying to find one (1) singular good quality modern linen 💀

Sorry, forgot to paste the other link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ytBz5ZkMes 😅
Why is Fabric Quality so Bad Now?

@laumapret Have u thought of and acces to an IKEA? I have 100% linen curtains from them and love them. Did not even shrink after washing.
@WinnyBurgers
Haven't thought, no... I have differently sized windows and one of them is huuuge (and IKEA is known to destroy old European forests), but, I guess, I can give it a look. Not like I have tons of other options.
