Making a little docs page for #magpie so people can easily find all the functions it has (on top of Picotron's API). With little gifs! #picotron
I love #magpie so much. I have written every little stupid and grubby line of code myself, very slowly, often with one hand because of my injury this year, and it's such a joy to use it every time I boot it up. I have so many stupid things I want to add to it. v0.2 coming soon!
@mtrc hi mike, do you have a "landing page" on your website to find magpie? i've played with it before but i want to try it again , and to direct people to it. i just spent a couple minutes surfing your websites unsuccessfully searching for it
@exquisitecorp Ah, sorry, I don't just yet! The homepage for now is https://illomens.itch.io/magpie. But I want to make another main page over on my site soon. It's just finding the time for it haha. Once v0.2 is out I'm taking a break from active dev on the tool, so that's one of the things I can maybe get around to.

@exquisitecorp If you ever want to talk about it or have anything to share about your use of it or getting other people to use it, please do get in touch! I want to make more educational resources for it at some point in the future too, and to make it generally more useful for others.
@mtrc i'm teaching a course this fall that will primarily be in Lua so it would be a good fit for our livecoding segment

@exquisitecorp if you need anything at all, especially new features, please do drop me a line (or if you just want to chat!)

if it's even a little bit helpful to a class i would be fascinated to hear about it!

@exquisitecorp i don't know if you saw this from a little while back but i think it's very interesting from a pedagogical perspective too https://mastodon.social/@mtrc/116664478768457558
@mtrc will check this out thanks
