A round of playtesting on Vienna 1814 did what good playtesting always does: it surfaced the weak spots I'd stopped seeing myself. It dented my enthusiasm for a bit, I'll admit. But after some distance the problems read less like setbacks and more like the next set of design decisions. Back at it.
