#lispyGopherClimate #zine ( https://itch.io/jam/zine ) (we are in week -2, where the first issue will be in week 0)

#lisp topic wants that occur to me, (add your own / just submit something completely different).

- square dancing and lisp
- lambdamoo as a lisp cultural artifact
- Making a submission in interlisp medley
- making a(n ANSI CL + clim 2 spec) submission at all, many versions
- lots of loosely lispy art. Basically if it has the lisp to submit it is sufficiently lispy.
- NASA and lisp

If anyone has a good collection / any at all, I would really like defunct lisp magazine advertisements from a vast range of different lisp implementations as the "zine ads".

Edit: Images thereof could be your submission/s to the new weekly zine. There are notes on clim atizing images.

@alexshendi knights saying nil?

@alexshendi I'm trying to start a lisp zine (we are in week -2), the zine is a McCLIM series of application-frame layouts a la https://lispy-gopher-show.itch.io/zine/devlog/1560799/ansi-cl-clim-20-spec-zine-jam-instruction-copypasta . Knights saying Nil is a pun on Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Zine pages basically look like the window here and here we are going to learn how to put them together in a way you personally can just directly lift into the weekly common lisp article jam: https://i...

@screwlisp

I must claim prior art. I registered an assembly called "The Knights That Say NIL" for #39c3 (Chaos Communication Congress) end of last year.

So you want to do a kind of #HyperCard Lisp zine, only using McCLIM?

@alexshendi well yeah that is basically my aspiration, I am really just muddling along though. Would you promote ladies/gentry saying NIL in it?

@screwlisp

Well, the idea is not **too** original, so I'm not doing a copyright strike ;)

Good luck with your project.

@alexshendi did I get the "this, but hypercard on interlisp medley" idea from you? I was trying to gesture that that is basically TN's mid-60s (revised, mid-80s) concept as such except for his allergy to the lisp community. Did you have a link to your CCC talk last year?

@screwlisp

No, I was talking about the "Knights That Say NIL" joke.

I didn't give a talk per se. The "Knights That Say NIL" name was for an assembly, which is a group of tables, which people (interested in a certain Topic i.e. Lisp) can gather round and work on their projects, discuss things, and also hold talks ...

The web link to the assembly page is:

[39c3] Lisp Or The Knights That Say NIL
