The question is, of course, whether there were some people in navy blue polo shirts and dark glasses and false beards at the back of that presentation, taking notes.

Mind you, at current air travel rates, they could wait until the Middlesex University people are back from Canada, and just pop down the A1(M) instead. (-:

@JdeBP @grahamperrin @GossiTheDog @cstross With the almost invisible earpieces but white wire leading down to their shirts?

Oh yes those people.

@DianeBruce

The earpieces are usually #Lidl or #Aldi.

The #Tesco people usually don't have earpieces. But they might have had some distinctive green laptop bags that might have given them away. (-:

@JdeBP @grahamperrin @GossiTheDog @cstross I've seen the Tesco uniform etc.
Until a few years ago we had a Marks&Spencer shop I quite liked. My inlaws were expat Brits. They knew how to make a decent cuppa. I was just riffing on the fake beard theme ! Of course then they'd be wearing dark sunglasses and look even more out of place. ;)

Nice, but I preferred the black ones in British Home Stores. Like Daleks' heads.
