Happy on the trail. The first time in Urho-Kekkonen-Nationalpark and I'm flashed. Today the Iisakkipää-Trail. We climbed to the Iisakkipää peak and watched the landscape transform. The birch trees grew shorter, the conifers eventually vanished, and only dwarf birches were left carpeting the ground. Up at the summit, we were rewarded with a breathtaking view of Lapland's endless forests and mountains.
